My husband is in the process of filing BK because of decrease in pay, unsecured debt, etc. I am not filing but of course my income is figured in (which I still have some issues with). However, the lawyer sent the schedules I and J last night---said our disposable income was negative and they 'wouldn't go for that'. Asked us to adjust so we showed disposable income of 300.00 a month. Our figures were accurate---I didn't 'pad'. She said without that there wasn't enough to make a payment plan feasible. When I asked what that meant she responded by saying that they 'frowned on (BK court) someone with household income of close to 100000 filing BK without having business debt. This is just such a game. Any advice?
