Garnishment/Bank Levy

I live in Ohio but I work in Pennsylvanis, Ohio does garnish wages,Pennsylvania does not., Could a creditor garnish my wages?
How long does it take for a creditor to garnish wages or bank levy from when you last paid?
I last paid my creditors in July 09., I am planning on filing the beginning of December approximately or a little earlier?

I can only talk from my experiences. I quit paying creditors in Sept 08 and didnt get sued until July 09... So it seems to take a while. Also, be aware that once you get served with papers you can file a response and that also gives you more time.
If you so a search on this site you will come up with some pretty good info as to what others situations have been and what to do if you get served.

Before a creditor can garnish your wages or levy your bank account, they have to be awarded a judgement against you.
