    Refinancing during 13

I'm in my 27th month of the 60 month plan. Any chance I can refinance, combine my 1st and 2nd to lower my payments? My 1st is through CitiMortgage and the 2nd is with CitiFinancial. Seems like they could work something out. Otherwise, good chance I'll be in Chapter 7 within 6 months. With all these new Obama programs, sure think there would be something I can do. In 5-7 years will be inheriting some minor property and in better shape. I have no co-signer either.

Thanks in advance for any guidance. I'm not willing to walk away from this yet, if at all possible.

So long as you have made every payment on time for 24 months in your Chapter 13, and then seek approval of the Trustee... it's possible!
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10

      I've been late

the last couple of months by 2-3 weeks, unfortunately.

If you have been late or missed any of your chapter 13 payments, no bank/lender will touch you for a refinancing. Discuss with your lawyer.
