    Confirmation hearing...Judge ordered continuence

Hi...new to the forum...First a little background...Filed Ch. 13 on July 31st in Tampa, FL...lots of cc debt, 2 auto surrenders and a 2nd mortgage strip. A quick question that i am confused about. Today was our confirmation hearing which was actually scheduled at the same time as our 341 meeting was scheduled...341 was Sept 8th and confirmation was yesterday 10/14 . Receptionist at lawyers office said a "continuance" was ordered..."not to worry this is routine"..."when its confirmed you will get notice by mail from the court".
Any ideas as why the "continuance". Our trustee even sent letter to Clerk of Court recommending confirmation...Hope this is all just routine. Thanks in advance.

I am int he same district and state.

First thing that comes to mind, as mentioned by my lawyer, is that the courts are VERY constipated right now.

More filers than they can handle, so continuances are, in fact, regular. (pun intended to match above constipation reference )

I doubt you have to worry about anything.

We filed the same day, 7/31. Our confirmation hearing was set last week but I found out a few days ago it was "adjourned" until next week. We're in the same boat! I hope one of us hears soon! I don't know if "continuance" and "adjourned" mean the same thing when it comes to confirmation hearings....
