We had our confirmation hearing yesterday and an 11th hour change the day before. Our attorney told us we didn't need to attend. I've emailed them, but haven't heard back...is that good news or bad news? I check on the 13datacenter and it has an N/A by our Confirmation date. If we didn't get confirmed, wouldn't we know?? We are assuming no news is good news....?

Your lawyer had to be at the confirmation hearing - give him/her a call on Monday. Also the court will snail-mail a letter signed by your local court judge to your home address stating your plan is confirmed.I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

Actually, that depends. In lots of jurisdictions, no appearance is necessary by the lawyer or the debtor(s) if there is no opposition to confirmation by a creditor or the trustee. So to say that the lawyer had to be there is iffy.
Nonetheless, if you can't get through to the lawyer (and you should) on Monday (remember, it's Columbus Day so don't freak out if the lawyer isn't at work) just give a call to the Court on Tuesday morning at 9:00am. Ask to be connected to the judge's chambers and ask the calendar clerk.I am a lawyer licensed to practice in NY and CA, but I'm not your lawyer unless we have a signed agreement that says so. Nothing in this post should be considered legal advice.
