Motion for relief with our car

Recently we had a motion for relieft filed by chrystler because we were two payments were behind. The next day i overnighted the payments which they have cashed so we are technically up to date now

so my question is will the attorney withdraw his motion or how far should this go

the motion will probably be withdrawn but keep your eyes on it just in case. However filing those motions cost money so don't be surprised if Chrysler claims you owe them more at the end of your contract to cover their costs. Just keep track.

They'll either withdraw it, or the Court will dismiss it as moot.

But -- (it wouldn't be legal without a 'but')

Chrysler had to spend about $500 to have this motion brought. So dismissal or withdrawal will be contingent upon you making arrangements to pay this. Usually, it is rolled in with your balance that you owe the creditor as long as you have sufficient equity in the collateral.

And-- (it wouldn't be legal without an 'and')

The Court will probably give them what is known as a "drop dead order" which means that if you fall behind again, the Court will lift the stay without a hearing upon Chrysler giving notice that you've fallen behind.

We have let our attorney know already he said he would let us know about any fees im just curious to see how long will it take for it to be cancelled ?

courts churn slowly. LOLOL I suspect that a couple weeks after your scheduled hearing date, you will receive notification (or on PACER a few days after your hearing date.)
