Confrmation held over?

Now we all know the min we're late on sending info or a payment in we catch it but yet the court/trustee can do whatever and it's ok?!

Confirmation hearing was supposed to be this morning. I'm about to leave out to head to the court, get a phone call from my Attorney, case has been held over until Nov?! Now we both are finding this out this morning.

No prior letters or anything!

Now is this something to worry about?

My 341 and confirmation hearing have been moved twice. I have had to make arrangements for wife and I to be off work to find that the meeting(s) were canceled and rescheduled within days of the original date. Glad when all is done and I can get on with plan payments and life.

If you are in MI the Confirmation Hearing being delayed can be a problem because your time clock in BK doesn't start until the Confirmation date. I filed in June of 08 and my confirmation was in August...my 60 months didn't start until Aug.

I'm in PA, I filed in June 09 so Sept would have been the 60 days?
My attorney didn't say if their were any problems just that case was pushed back.
I'm thinking because their so bogged down or might be something else?

It's most likely the date pushed because the court is overwhelmed with all the cases filed. If it had been something related to your case, your trustee would almost certainly have already discussed it with your lawyer before today. Hang in there - keep making your payments on time - this will all sort out in time.
