Cancel a chap. 13

What if I file chapter 13 and my case gets dismissed for some reason. Can I refile immediately? If I can, does it depend on the reason the case was dismissed? Like, I fired my lawyer because he sucked? Or, I stopped making my payment? Or any other reason for that matter?

Thanks all, this site has provided me with more answers than my lawyer. Some day maybe I be able to contribute with an answer.......

on the what if scenario's

dismissed WITH prejudice means you can't refile for 180 days unless barred completely by the judge. This happens when fraud is found or the court thinks you are gaming the system.

dismissed WITHOUT prejudice (for missed payments etc) you can refile immediately.
