tax return reported to trustee?

wow, i was reading the forums from way back.(back in 2006) I read where tax returns are required under law to be presented to the trustee each year? I havent sent the trusttee any tax returns since my confirmation. I wasnt instructed to do so by my attorney. Havent been asked for them at all and i am in my 42 month. Is it law to send tax returns to trustee? If so, wonder why nothing has been said in 42 months about it? I havent had any large increase, but curious.

Just received my discharge at 59 months, never once did I, or was I requested too submit returns
