Got a look at the pre plan...

Well we went to see the paralegal gal handling our 13. She had the plan our lawyer whipped up with our initial interview.

Oh boy, a long road ahead I see!

Van in the plan, Fee's, also gonna try to get the ATV we financed through the wife's bank in(highly doubt it will fly, but will turn over in a heartbeat). Our payment would be 365 a month for 5 years, paying 3% back of an unsecured amount of 56000! Unsecured creditors getting a whopping $31.86. Are we getting dupped here or what?

She say's it could be less depending on how our income/expence's work out. She's not worried, says our lawyer wouldn't probably worry and that the trustee is a very sweet guy! HAHAHAHAHA Righttttttttttttttttt.

She did say that she' only seen one case forced into a chapter 7 because or low income high debt. cross my fingers our measly income gets us buy for 5 years.

Good that you took a close look at the proposed plan. Be sure to go through line by line and ensure everything looks accurate before you both sign the forms.

If your figures come out on the Means Test and Schedules showing you only have X amount of disposable income, then X is all you have to pay. If that means your unsecured creditors only get cents on the dollar back, well, too bad, so sad....that's the law!
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
