I currently have a vehicle that I am leasing and will be given back as part of the bk. I've been trying to get a loan to replace the vehicle I have now but everyone is turning me down because my credit is so bad..does anyone know any banks that deal with people who have bad credit...adn will I even be able to get a car loan after filing the chap. 13?

type in 722 redemption on google and it will come up. It is a program for those in chapter 7 and chapter 13 to purchase or refinance vehicles. High interest but with bad credit that is all you would get anyway. Your attorney is involved in the process as well as the trustee. I have used it and found it to be a good program (even with the high interest) It is through US Bank
I have also done buy here pay here and would not recommend it to anyone. The payment is every 2 weeks and is 3 times the value of the car. In addition, the little box shuts off the car if you are one hour late with the payment. It is worse than payday loans as far as I am concerned.Comment
