My daughter and her husband are headed for divorce court.They filed chapter 13 about 18 months ago.The payments come out of her check.She does.nt even have enough to buy groceries left .Is there a modification she can do.It was a joint filing when it was done.

They would need to consult with an attorney to form the best plan of action. It may be best to dismiss the case and file a chapter 7.
You can file a motion with the court to bifurcate (split) the case, effectively giving them both seperate chapter 13 plans. -
