Wanted to confirm with you guys something my lawyer said.
I currently owe 240k on an appraised value (bk appraisal) of 280k on my home. I figuered I would be responsible to pay 40k + intrest over the 5 year period of my loan. My lawyer however said that I would not be responsible for the 40k but responsible for 23,200k over the 5 years (plus intrest) becasue there is a 6% realtor fee that can be subtracted. Is that true? I feel really lucky if true as that will make a huge difference for me.
Also what intrest rate are you guys haveing to use when paying back secure debts.
