    proof of claim deadline

Our proof of claim deadline was 4/6/09. Can creditors still file claims against us past that date? If they didn't make a claim does that mean we don't have to pay them?

No, they are out of luck past the claims deadline. The government has a longer deadline than the standand one, but that is all.

Since you are in a 100% plan your plan will be paid off sooner as you will not be paying the ones who did not file.

I believe its 180 days for government claims, such as student loans, etc..

for the filer to object to a claim I believe there has to be a good reason, like it is unsecured not secured, or the amount claimed is not accurate. However I do not believe the filer can object to a late filed claim. Only the trustee can do that. But the OP can always ask the attorney. If it is thrown out it is possible that this OP will be done with their plan within months instead of years. LOL
