In 13 is your bank account monitored?

I put money in a account I have with a credit union to pay car insurance & another bill. Would the trustee check that?

Your accounts are not monitored in Ch 13 unless your trustee thinks you are trying to defraud the court.

When you file Ch 13, just like when filing Ch 7 you need to list every account you have, including yours in the CU. How much cash can your state exemptions protect on filing day? In most cases (not all) the goal is to have as little in possible in your cash accounts on filing day. Discuss this with your lawyer to undertand the ins and outs of accounts and cash in your area.

I only have that one account which I submitted with all my paper work.
I ask because I read here people talking about disposable income & how money was taken from their account.

2 of my bills are automatic withdrawals, so i put about $450 to cover those.
