I am still waiting for my loan mod with the mortgage company before I file Ch13. However, at the same time I applied for the loan mod Chase put a foreclosure notation on my credit report. Now, it's stopping me get a car. I am driving an old clunker and need another vehicle. Any ideas where I can try for financing? No one seems to want to know with the foreclosure on my credit report - it's not going to foreclosure either!

Write a letter to Chase to get the status change. After, I don't know, 10 days maybe, write to the various credit reports stating Chase refuses to change status.
