Thank you LIZ, I am so anxious and discouraged now , don't know what to do , I think it is hard to get back my money from my lawyer who is already had me waiting for over 5 months. Don't know any other lawyer I can trust. He might turn out to be the same or worse than the first one.

right now I am just waiting and hoping for some breakthrough , for that little light under the tunnel. Just got a letter from a collection agency telling me my account is delinquent (no kiddin .Faxed it to my lawyer. Still waiting for response. sent him 2 e-mails so far , He is slow to respond , and when he does, always asks me to give him little more time . I don't know what else to do with no money left in pocket to hire another one. Yesterday I was at my dentist and he found 5 cavities shelled out $700 and my GHI did not cover it. does it get any worse than this!! you tell me.

Don't get discouraged, just "get the ball rolling"...demand answers and $$ back or you will report him to the bar. You shouldn't have to wait this long...it's your money, your time, and your credit (that's getting trashed by the months). It DOES get better, once you file there will be some relief.

      Best of luck to you~

Add: If he is this SLOW now, imagine how he'll represent you at your 341...gosh, I'd be worried about him turning in paperwork to the courthouse in a timely manner! About 3/4 of the cases that went before me at my 341 were continued because the attorney didn't have the paperwork in order/didn't file the right paperwork. Poor clients.
      May 2008 Hired 1st Attorney/Stopped paying CCs

May 28th - Filed for Ch 7 (FINALLY!)
      9/11/09 - DISCHARGED!!!!

So he's pushing you into a chapter 13 even though you don't have money to make the payments?
Same here. I'm in Broward County.
