How would you feel if one week your attorney says one thing then the next week something different?
I have a situation now that last week some issues were to be taking care of as of last thurs. The attorney says everything should be straight by Tuesday.
I called Tuesday, "well I have to make a call to the trustee". Umm wasn't that what you were supposed to take care of last week?!
I should have posed that question but I didn't.

Now today, everything should be straight at the latest early next week.

Hmm we'll see. I'm really trying to be patient with all this.
Like someone said we're paying for your services so they should be on the ball!

You need to realize that you are not the only client the attorney has and most BK attorneys are extremely busy now. I work in the legal world and it isn't pretty at times how busy it can get...Also, if your attorney is trying to get information as to your matter from other sources, the delay could be on their part. Give your attorney the benefit of the doubt. If you retain an attorney and they don't ever contact you that's one thing; but a delay of a few days or a week of something regarding informational purposes could be due to a lot of unavoidable things.
