We are filing next Wednesday and we were given a choice @ the free evaluation if we wanted to fo 36 months - $170/month or 60 months - $110/month. Wondering which will be best.

Yeah thats what I'm thinking. When you say being under a trustee what do you mean? I know they get the money my employer sends them but do they contact you? or is it like being on probation?!?

you can incur NO new debt without trustee permission and they aren't watching your every move but ususally they check over your tax returns to see if you are reporting everything to the trustee
so you aren't "free" to just do as you please without first asking for permission from the trustee (sell your house, sell your car, buy a house, buy a car, cc debt, etc)Comment
