woohoo what a great feeling. Due to my unenployment we were able to file immediatly payment only 1157 including the second mtg which we are stripping.

This means we are getting rid of $137,000 in 5yrs of course the payment will go up when I'm employed thats ok we have enough money to live on with the budget. The lawyer said no problem when i get a job just get the first check and let them know to resubmit. What a great feeling

Is there a point in getting a job (other than something to do)?

If they are willing to confirm your plan @ 1157/mo and you get a job clearing $3000/mo, won't your payment just go up to $4457/mo? Minus some for gas and other job related expenses.

According to my lawyer no. He said if they were to make it so difficult to live that you couldn't make it then why do it . Everyone one would file 7.. At this point i have an attorney who has been doing this 25yrs and it seems like i might be in a good district. We were honest on everything and my attorney said this should be cut an dry. According to the formula i was told if I got a job paying more than my unemployment it would go up. Wright now unemployment $1000 say i get a job paying $1500 my payment would go up to around 1450 but my wife also works and we are fortnate enough to be albe to pay the bills on her check and the unemployment check now that we've filed. Our bills weree over $5000 a month before we filed. So i'm used to tight. As far as a job clearing $3000 a month i would have to go back to school for that kind of money. Floridas wages are a lot lower than elsewhere but so is the cost of living. My 3/2 in a nice area 1800 sqft is only $80,000
