DH and I signed all our paperwork for our Chapter 13 bankruptcy on Tuesday, 06/16/09 - Today I received via Certified Mail a letter from GE Money Bank on my JCPenney account a letter stating - "1st Notice" The letter pretty much lays out that I am delinquent on my account, that they have tried reaching me and/or sending letters and offering me a repayment plan, then it says If you fail to send at least a minimum payment, preventing your account from going further delinquent and we don't receive it by the next payment due date on your statement, your account will be placed with a Collection Agency for further collections
I guess my question is: Should I fax this over to my attorney or just ride it out, since he told us that he would be filing our paperwork for the bankruptcy on Wednesday, 06/17/09 with the trustee.
Attorney is proposing $340.00 a month X 60 month payoff...hoping it goes thru
