    Is Pacer updated realtime?

The date to file claims was yesterday. Obviously I didn't sleep very good last night because there were a couple of big outstanding claims.

Is pacer updated to the day? 2 of my bigger creditors didn't file. One smaller one got in last minute and this was dated the 28th so they actually filed yesterday.

I was wondering if I could celebrate just a little or am I all of sudden going to see these claims pop up? This makes a difference of 1.5 years on a 100% payback and breathing just a bit easier.

    Thanks,
    Lee

Does this answer my question, that yes, it's realtime and if the claims are not showing they didn't file? This is from the PACER website.....

How often is the case information updated on PACER?
Case information appears on the PACER system in real time. Once case information has been updated in CM/ECF, that information is available through PACER immediately.

No, PACER only enters things once your trustee's office updates them. So how "realtime" it is depends on how realtime your trustee's office is about updating the PACER site. Mine is usually a week or so behind, unfortunately. I don't want to rain on your parade, just want to prepare you in case these claims show up in the next few weeks. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I thought it was the National Data Center that was a couple of weeks behind? That is where the trustee enters the data, isn't it?

Can someone confirm if Pacer is "realtime" or not. In other words, if the claims due date was 4/28 and a claim wasn't entered, it's past the claim date now?

Someone has to know the answer to this....

All computer databases require someone to enter the data into them. Some clerk or secretary somewhere has to be entering in things to the computer system, regardless of whether or not it's PACER or the National Data Center. I think you are right, that PACER enters things in more quickly, essentially as soon as the people at the court enter it into record, but still, is a human being doing the filing, entering things in, and you can't guarantee that it is happening the same day, or even the same week what with the huge increase in BK filings in most districts. And some trustees will allow claims past the file date, you will want to object to those if they come through since you are in a 100% plan.
