Plan Confirmed! but new case flag.

I just received my plan confirmation (two weeks after the plan meeting was held). On the same day that my confirmation was posted to Pacer this was posted as well:

"Notice of Requirement to File A Certificate Regarding Domestic Support Obligations Pursuant to Section 1328(a). Failure to file the certification(s) prior to completing all payments under the Chapter 13 Plan will result in the case being closed without an entry of discharge."

Has anyone else had this requirement? Apparently I have until the end of my plan to get this certification posted. I am not really sure what it entails though. During my 341 it came up that I was supporting my domestic partner since he lost his job a year earlier. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

I had this flag also. I had to sign a paper stating I did not owe child support, alimony, or any other type of domestic obligations that would be court ordered. ask your attorney. He just missed having you sign this form.

That is exactly correct. We had to have to form in hand and signed at our 341 in order for the case to continue. Just sign the paper and have your attorney file it. All done!

Thanks for your responses. My attorney has sent me the form to sign and anxiety levels have returned to normal.
