    More problems!

When it rains it pours! So I've submitted everything to my atty and have been waiting for months for my case to be filed. In the last month I was told my job was being eliminated but have since been offered a new positiion with my company in another state.
I've been looking for something locally with no luck so it's looking like I will have to pack up and move. Where I'm moving to has a higher cost of living (+15%) and I will be making slightly less. Due to other issues I need my case filed pronto. My question is about modifying later.
Current scenario- income $52000 bkpayment approx$780 housing $800
Future scenario- income $48000 bk payment $780 housing $900

I know the numbers aren't too different but with the cost of living being higher will I likely be able to get my plan modified?

You would need to look at the IRS/Trustee allowances for the new area. If the cost of living is really higher, then an equal adjustment in the allowances for Mortgage/Rent and Non-Mortgage/Non-Rent expense should increase accordingly.

If your plan is already confirmed, you'll probably have to first change venue (Motion to Change Venue) and then Motion to modify a confirmed plan, using the new numbers.

    Best of luck!
