Payments on a Chapter 13 plan

First...Go to legalconsumer.com and take the online means test. This will give you a rough idea of a payment.
Second...Start seeking out bankruptcy attorneys. Get as many FREE consulatations that you need to find a good lawyer that you can work with. Make sure you use one that specializes in bankruptcy. A good lawyer will be able to help with filing all taxes and be able to work your budget with you so you have wiggle room where you need it.
Third...It is time to file those tax returns. You need to know how much you are going to owe so you know how much you are putting into your plan. Anyway, before you can file all tax returns need to be filed.
If you go over the IRS allowance on any of the categories...make sure you have receipts to back them up. You can get away with higher prescriptions if you show the receipts of how much everything costs. Your car loan can probably be rolled into your plan.
Our plan is only $759 a month and includes a car loan ($11K left) and about $65K in credit card debt. More than enough to fund a plan. So, if you really have $900 a month left over...it should be plenty.
I hope this helps. It is a scary road to travel, but the turns wind down and then it is a pretty smooth ride.
