Car question

I will be filing within the next month; however I will be returning the current vehicle, and I do have a small car we own that I wanted to sell and put towards a larger vehicle big enough for the family instead of craming us into the little one.
My question is, the vehicle we own is in both our names, only I will be filing, after I file can he sell that and get me a different vehicle, or do I have to do it now. The sale amount should be around $2000 and the new vehicle won't be anymore than say $3800 ish

If that's what you intend to do, I'd suggest that you do it before you file. Even if your husband isn't filing. The fact is, you're married and buying and selling big items like cars gets real difficult when one of you is in chapter 13.

I agree. Just get it over with before you file. It will be much less complicated.

wow, your "NEW" car will be only 3800?? Is that going to be dependable????
