I carry my significant other on my medical insurance as she qualifies as my domestic partner. One of the qualifiers of a domestic partner is sharing the same domicile. My pay stub clearly identifies DP (Domestic Partner) insurance and imputed income on the premiums. Will I have to consider her income, expenses and/or any of her financial information as a member of the household or can I exclude or ignore her for purposes of a Chapter 13 as we are not legally married and we keep our finances separate?

You will have to include her income. You need an experienced attorney to handle this case - most likely you can "expense" all of her income except what is used to directly contribute to the household expenses. Speak to your attorney about it.Filed CH 7 9/30/2008

I am not an attorney. None of my advice is legal advice in any way..
