Question??

We have been in our chapter 13 for almost 2 years. Our payment is 310.00 a month for 36 mths and is deducted from DH's paycheck weekly of 77.50.

Now my question is will our 13 end early because we are paying extra in the months there are 5 fridays? If you subtract what we have paid from our base plan it should end about 3 months early.(THIS WOULD BE GREAT ) Will they just add this extra to our base plan in the end?

Anyone one with any experience with this?

I can't speak for your bk court and trustee, but our 60-month 13 plan included an adjustment for 3-paycheck months. Ask your lawyer what's going to happen in your case - good luck!

Ditto... our plan took into account of the extra pay weeks too.

Mine also took into consideration the extra pay periods for the payback and in figuring my monthly budget.

my payments never changed. just extra was paid in.
The trustees goal is to pay all debt off by end of period.
They will change the amount they pay to claimants based on what is on hand

If you think you are close, contact your attorney about getting out early.

I am in the process of officially 11 months early out, but still waiting then official discharge
