Once you are discharged, is that when the timer starts for it remaining on your credit report? If so, your credit is affected 12 years (5 year plan, then 7 credit agancy) rather than the 7 that I keep reading. Is that correct?

Chapter 13 will be on your credit reports for 7 years from the date of filing. For example; we filed in 4/02...it starts to come off next month for us, 4/09, and I will be eternally grateful because no matter what anyone says, it still creates problems for us now and then by being on our credit reports._________________________________________
