Not done with taxes but for the year my wife and my incomes (filing alone )she grossed 43,200 and after my business deduction(self employed) im around 38,000 area i think but the last 6 months including march im at 1822 a month after businss deduction and wife i put her at 3800 amonth gross will the whole yearly thing hurt me or will they go by last 6 months to determine income (last year had to big jobs 26500 and 37500)cause according to means test on another web site it said i was low for previos 6 months i failed 6 month median but keep coming up with no money left

It is calculated based on the previous 6 months, not annually.

I hope so cause last year for a couple of months i made money but last 6 months i didnt and 07 06 05 i didnt either
