Is there a time limit as to when a 13 HAS to be confirmed? Our 341 was 11/5/08. We have an adversarial complaint (pretrial is 4/2/09). Can this be dragged out indefinitely or is there a drop dead date somewhere in our future?

I have seen some take 8 to 12 months to actually confirm. The only thing the Bankruptcy code states, is that the Confirmation hearing must be held no less than 20 to 45 days after the 341. my signature says it all for me. And lrprn took even longer- 16 months. It is frustrating, making the payments when they haven't even ok'd your plan, but in most cases, the payments are shaving time off anyway, so it works out to the same time length anyway.Chapter 13 filed -8/12/04
