      Thank goodness I finally got back to the forum to read this. Otherwise I would have had to bury the hamsters. Lack of exersize.

                    I remember You, Adam, cause of the very short payoff time in your Chapter 13 - I haven't seen anyone else do it that fast and didn't even know it could be done! Apparently it can. Congrats!!!!

                          Yes it can! I had an absolutely brilliant lawyer...he was expensive but worth every penny. Excellent at "massaging" the numbers

                          $200/mo for 14 payments...from filing to discharge in 15 months. It can be done!

                          I just wanted to say that this forum has been invaluable in it's insights in to the entire process. part of what made this whole process scary, at first, was not knowing how it worked. But, knowledge is power, and this forum is a wealth of knowledge. Thanks to everyone here!

                          oh! and to just let everyone know...a few days after my BK discharged, I closed on my first house! I never thought i'd be able to buy a house with my credit, but I did it! To all those struggling and wondering if BK is right for them: there is hope and BK was the answer! Hang in there!

                            Wow! Congratulations...you did have a brillant attorney!
                            Not only 15 months for Ch 13 (which is fantastic)...but a house immediately after your discharge!
