i haven't checked with my attorney yet, but has anyone in the Tampa district been requested to surrender their tax refund??
I'm not in your District. However, your Order of Confirmation will contain the terms of your confirmation. It may indicate that all future refunds are to be turned over the the Trustee.
I believe that generally, in Florida, income tax refunds are property of the estate and hence, go to the Trustee to be distributed to the unsecured creditors.
If you are married and filed without your spouse, then you may be able to claim that portion of the return which is not your income.
