Is cccs free? I just dumped credit solutions after they took me for 6K. Is cccs the same thing?

CCCS will still charge you a very nominal service charge. So in essence, you are paying them, and the creditors are going to setup interest rates on every account.
Why dont you just settle them yourself?
Or why dont you just file a BK? -
I got so scammed by a credit counseling place. They were charging me $27 per acct. I had, plus they never negotiated anything and I was still charged the same interest and late charges b/c they were sending them out once a month and did not negotiate to not have late fees. I ended up owing more after 6 months then I did before. My payment was something like $400 per month but I had 6 accounts so $162.00 was going to them per month.Comment
