    Forgotten Items

This was brought up in the Chapter 7 folder but I thought I'd ask here since I'm filing Chapter 13.

I forgot to mention to my lawyer the below and I've emailed the info to him (he's pretty good about reading them.) Anyway, I just wanted to know someone's thoughts on this:

I have several web domains in my name, I figured it out to be a $36/mo hobby (though paid yearly). I'm a bit nervous about these but included them in my email to him because I completely forgot about it when I last spoke to him. Two of them were recently purchased, too, (but not with a CC) using my debit card.

I'm hoping it's not going to be a big deal. I haven't filed yet so I know I probably let the lawyer know ahead of time. And here I thought I was so organized.

Just call your lawyer and let him know right away so the domains can be included in your filing. He/she will want to know how to value them.

It's easy to overlook things when you file, but important to do your very best to sift through all your finances (past and present) so you don't get caught if the trustee finds some asset you forgot or didn't know had been titled to you.

If your trustee does uncover forgotten or overlooked assets or other suspicious financial shifts before filing, that can make your filing messy and requires an amended Ch 13 filing that delays confirmation. (Although you'll still be making payments to your trustee while the lawyers straighten things out.)

Call your lawyer tomorrow. This won't tilt the table too far in any direction as long as the domains aren't worth a great deal.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
