1 day late for your payment for 13 is late. This should be a major priority for you.

Late payment? My trustee counts the minutes. Last tax season they tried to dismiss my 13, AGAIN, for not providing my tax returns and monies in a timely manner. Even though I had emailed my attorney, the clerk of the court that has my case, the trustee, and his deputy my tax returns 2 months before, and they had already CASHED my check for the tax return monies. Don't give a trustee a reason to hang you, they do just fine trying to do it when you are paying on time.

Our attorney said that our payments will be automatically deducted from DH's wages directly from his employer. That's not the way they do it for all states then?
          11/18/08 filed CH 7; 341: 12/11/09, cont'd to 01/06/09
          03/21/09 341 hearing for CH 13
04/27/09 Confirmation hearing for CH 13

isn't it interesting how everything is different - my lawyer told me that as long as i have both trustee payments and mortage payments within 30 days i'd be okay - i've managed to make all the trustee payments on or before the 1st and twice i paid my mortgage, i dunno, sometime before the 16th to avoid late fee.

            weird

I was told that once we filed that we wouldn't have our "grace period" from the mortgage company (before the 16th and being paid outside our plan). I guess it just depends on the Trustee/district
