    Dropped off our packet today

Well it took us a couple weeks to put all the paperwork that the lawyer asked us for. The whole pack of papers was about 2-3 inches thick. I would charge someone 3k just to go through all that myself... :-)

I paid the $100 retainer fee and I can officially start routing collection calls to the lawyers office. According to the receptionist, I should get a call in 10 days advising me of a signing date. I think I'll wait to start routing calls to them until after this day has come. I'm only getting calls on my cell phone so it's easy enough to just hit ignore when my phone starts vibrating (ringer's off).

I just hope this process goes smoothly...I'm a big worrier!

That packet is something else, isn't it? It can cause one who never proscrastinates to actually procrastinate! :-)

Got an email from the Attorney's office today. They are asking us to clarify a couple things....10 items to be exact; 8 of which are pretty simple. The other two may take some elbow grease. He said that we can bring this information to the signing appointment which we can call to make at our convenience. All of this is going a little too smoothly. :-)
