Just checked our NDC file, it shows Date closed 10/2/2008, and a case status of Z "Near completion".
We called our trustees office about 2 wks ago to ask about a final payment, they said about $150 should do it, got money order and sent it in. Final monies were sent out on 9/30 and the case summary shows nothing due, and we still have a balance of $450 still in the ledger.
My question is what now....Do I do a happy dance, and what shoud I expect time wise.
Filed 3/03 w/ 38k debt, went from paying 73% to 100%.
Also, since we had a car in the plan is it wise to call insurance company and have the current lein holder dropped and to make me the new one? I would hate to wreck the car and the Finance company get my money...
