    Curious... Judgement question.

    What will happen to a judgement on my credit upon discharge? Anything?
    Disclaimer: Young, NOT Dumb.(._.) The plan: $480 monthly for 60 months at 100%. 07/12/08
    Motion to Discharge: FILED!! 08/07/13
    60 down/0 to go \m/(*.*)\m/ 100% complete!

    I assume you mean a judgement that existed prior to you filing BK?

    It remains a judgment, it will just be "discharged" like all your other debts and should reflect so on your credit report.
    It won't come off your report, if that's what you are wondering..........

      I believe it stays on the same amount of years your bk stays on your credit report. Just remember though, aside from being a credit report thing, if you have a lien arising out of the judgement, the lien can stay active for a number of years as the lein doesn't get discharged.
      May 2008: Filed Chapter 13
      Jan 2010: Plan Amended and Confirmed! finally plan funds = total funds due!
      Jul 2013: 5 years done! Trustee set to discharge! Woo hoooo!
