lol...here too. I was amazed today when we got there...I was picturing the whole scene totally different...like a court in the movies or something! I was almost giddy (after having to take 1/4th of a (prescribed) xanax cause I was so freaking worked up this morning!!!) to see that we were all in a room together and the trustee was so nice, even smiling.

We did have one "bump" once we got up there...we breezed thru all the questions when all the sudden an IRS chick wanted to ask a question...they had no record of us filing our 2007 taxes. Well, I almost lost it...I started tearing up and my DH, shocked, assured her we had..on April 15. To make a long story short, we filed electronically this year for the first time. My social security is still under my maiden name...so the computer booted it when the last name and SS# didn't match...and our CPA either failed to notify us or something. Anyway, the IRS lady was super nice, told me not to worry, that it does happen...just to make things easier in the future change my name with the SSA.

So, that was the drama...but it was such an easy process, nothing like I expected. A couple of people before me had creditors there...and one woman had a really hard time because she is in a class action lawsuit or something, but most of us just zipped through.

Sure hope the next court date is this easy.........
