    Credit report funny business

I was looking at one of my credit reports, and I had noticed an interesting item on it.
Apparently, one of my creditors had updated the balance amount several times. I know this because the credit monitoring service sends me notices whenever something changes.

The creditor is on my bk filing.

Has something similiar happen to anyone else?

Regret to say it happens all the time. You need to dispute in writing anything that was included in your bankruptcy and now shows any balance owed and/or includes an incorrect bk filing date. All non-secured accounts listed in your bankruptcy should show as IIB (included in bankruptcy) and show 0 (zero) owed.
