BK audits aren't allowed at least in 2008 as Congress didn't include funds for it in the budget. Who knows what will happen next year, but you should be safe for at least another 8 months from any kind of audit.
Thank you, kmb.
I was just wondering what the process was like if and when. I did not know if that encluded another hearing/meeting. Just wanted to know what to expect. I guess, I will not worry about this 2008 year.
01/24/08 Chapter 13
03/05/08 341 Meeting
03/21/08 CONFIRMED!
Long way to go....
We were told to expect an audit within the 1st year of our plan. Since we were showing below the median and no disposible income and still doing a 13. Our payback is 0%. Ours was painless. We just had to show proof of income again and some general expense reciepts.
We have always paid on time into our plan and our house has always been current so trustee said no problem and let it ride.
I was ready for this so keep all records and stubs in files so all I had to do is pull the right months and turn in to lawyers office.
