I have sent payments via Express Mail to the P. O. Box in Memphis. This is the post office version of overnight. There is no signature required with this type of mail, they just simply put it in the P. O. Box.

If you've never used this method, or it's cousin, priority mail, which is 2-3 day delivery, it is very simple. You can purchase the postage and pay online with a debit card. You can print on plain paper and tape securely to the envelope. There are flat rate envelopes for each type of mailing that you can pick up at the post office or you can order them online for free. They are very similar to the Fed Ex flat cardboard envelopes.

I finally purchased a box of mailing labels so they self stick to the envelopes. If you prepare the mailing the day ahead of time, you can request pick up from you mailman for no additional cost. I don't request the free pick up, I just stick it in my mailbox and the regular carrier gets it with no problem. However, keep in mind that I live in a rural area, so putting mail in the box is not risky.

Using the method to send payments allows you to go back to the USPS website and print the delivery receipt after it is delivered. The priority cost is 4.60 and the express cost is 16.25.
