    Oh CRAP..What is this...

    I found this on Pacer just now. The "creditor" is the company we financed one of our cars through.

    NOTICE OF APPEARANCE AND REQUEST FOR NOTICE

    TO: THE HONORABLE BANKRUPTCY CLERK;
    Rixxxxxxxx, ATTORNEY FOR THE DEBTOR;
    xxxxx.x.xxxx, TRUSTEE

    Comes now xxxxxx & Associates, P.C., attorneys for XXXXXXX, Inc. ("Creditor") and files this Notice of Appearance and Request for Notice.
    XXXXX & Associates, P.C. hereby requests any and all notices required under the Bankruptcy
    Rules and Bankruptcy Code be sent to:
    blah blah blah

    I think it just means they want copies of everything in your case, but I'm not 100% certain. Maybe someone with more experience and knowledge will come along soon to answer your question.

      they just want to be notified of meetings and filings that pertain to them. My mortgage company and the company who financed my car both filed these. The car company showed up just to verify that I had insurance on the car to protect their asset. Dont sweat it.

        Amex filed this on mine. Means they want to know what's going on that's all. I wouldn't worry about it a bit.
