I'm sure there are people that will help you locally too! There HAS to be boards out there that you can post help if you're local and someone will come forward. I just know they're out there.
I'd still pursue Ford though and show proof of all the records you have from previous breakdowns.

I am going to be positive that your trustee will work with you! I can't see how he wouldn't. These things happen and there just has to be ways they can work around it. I will pray for you and wait to hear what your trustee says on Monday!

I was only 5 months into my 13 when we got permision to skip 3 months pmts due to illness.
Sometimes life make you deal with ugly and hateful people ,just think of them as sand paper. They may scratch you and rub you the wrong way but eventually you end up smooth and polished and the sand paper becomes old and worn out.

What happens then, FO7? They just tack it on the end? Extend it o llke 3 months?

What a relief that must have been for you, to be able to skip instead of facing dismissal, which is all our secret fears!

Another day in the life of CH13, Taurus won't start and needs a new battery. See what I mean, it never ends. Thank godness that this is a 3 paycheck month. Good luck with Ford, if you can get them to crack, let me know.

Just my 2 cents worth in response. Can I write a postdated check for it?

Wooisme, you asked a question and many people responded in trying to help. You seem to lash out at them so I can see in the posts where some are getting defensive also.

It seems that City Girl's advice might be a little edgy, but it is logical that most people, including myself, have taken equity loans to keep paying bills. Of course, it might not make financial sense ONCE you decide to declare bk, but I think we do it in good faith.

Of course, knowing what I know now, I would tell someone to never touch the equity in their house especially in the state of Florida. I wish I hadn't for sure.

I do not think it is fair to keep demeaning City Girl. We are all in the same boat, we are all under stress, but without a devil's advocate once in awhile, we will tend to forget that our bk is not someone else's fault. Ultimately it is our own fault. Now, don't jump on me here, I know all about unforseen problems that lead us down this path.

This place has been a panacea for me for it alleviated all my stress in the path I am about to take. I am sure it has been helpful to all that visit here. But let's not attack someone who throws in a wrench once in awhile. This forum is great because it does not allow nasty, malevolent attacks on people who post here. I don't see City Girl reaching that point.

We are all in this together and there is so much useful knowledge to be gained here. I think this thread has gotten out of hand.

Yes, anything within the forum rules are up for discussion. This thread is well within those limits.

Please wooisme, don't leave! And everyone on this thread and other members who are reading it....please remember we are here to support each other, not point fingers or be judgmental in any way no matter what our personal opinions about someone else's situation or decisions may be.

Respect for each other is key in keeping a happy community here. No one likes to be told they must do something that they just can't do. Posting that kind of "help" will not get the desired effect - just like in real life, it just makes people mad.

Reading posts without seeing facial expressions or tone of voice can lead to false perceptions and interpretations. Before assuming insult, please ask a poster if they meant what you think they meant first. It's important to pay close attention not just to what we say, but HOW we say it as well.

We all live in the bankruptcy glass house together....heaving a stone at one hurts us all.

                        Hi, I'm Citygirl's boyfriend, Brian.
She wanted me to get on here and apologize to Woo is me for not responding. She said that she apologizes for not responding but a Moderator has banned her for inappropriate behavior. She is very upset and said that everyone is very cool on this board. She doesn't really *honestly understand why she'd be banned. She said she never meant any harm and was trying to be helpful to someone on here.
She told me about her filing yesterday because she came here to release her stress and couldn't because she was banned.
Anyway she says hello and she will be back when her ban is lifted I guess. Take Care
                        Brian B.

Wooisme: If you live near SA TX my husband will fix it for you. I hope you do, I would love to help. I hate to hear people struggling even more so then already. I'm just in the VERY beginning process of Ch. 13 and my question is....after you pay your trustee do we get any money for ourselves besides living expenses that we had to list????? Gosh I hope we do! Best of luck to you and like I said if you live in or near SA TX, PM me and my DH can help out. Also, I think this was a very important thread. How do people in CH. 13 get emergency money ????????

Also if you don't mind me asking....... why did you have two confirmation hearings and then took so long to get confirmed? Is that the norm? Like I said I'm new to Ch. 13 under new laws. TIA
