There is no official due date, and honestly, most trustees are fairly lax; so long as they receive your payment IN THE MONTH that it was due, it will usually get credited properly.
Unless the trustee has given you specific information about WHEN to make your payment, just keep making the payments as you have been.Last edited by HHM; 08-01-2007, 07:54 PM.

My due date was the date (day of the month) of my 341 meeting, which was 30 days past the filing date. I'm sure the trustees office will be able to give you the right answer.
Just an FYI regarding money orders, they are a pain. I was purchasing from my bank the day I deducted the money ($4 each)...until I found that Walmart (our local one at least, check the service desk) only charges .46. I figured over the course of the 13 we'll save well over $100.

My first and all remaining payments are due within 30 days of my filing. Unless I have an ACH order or a payroll deduction, I must send the payment in certified funds via a money order or a cashier's check. Another district here in Texas will allow a debtor to send a personal check, but not mine.I used to have a life, now I have grandkids.

I can't even remember when my due date is. It has always been autodeducted except for the first, so I have never had to worry about it. Except the one month my employer got behind on sending in my payments and I only had enough in my bk account for half a payment. That was only the 2nd time I have called my trustee office, to make sure they knew it wasn't me that was late on payment.Chapter 13 filed -8/12/04
