Yeah, you are all right. I have been thinking that a checking account lately may not be the best for us since we are always incurring those ridiculous fees. And it's not because I don't know how to balance a checking account. Like you said, Feeling Hopeless, it's a matter of not having enough money rather than not budgeting properly or not making wise choices in buying, etc. Also, thanks for the reminder about seeking out help from a local church if need be on occasion. Actually, we already are members of a great church. But, I always struggle with pride and feeling guilty whenever I have thought about asking for their help in desperate times. Somehow, I just want to do all I can to avoid that. I don't know why...it's not as though my husband and I don't already help out the church in many ways (praise & worship ministry, sunday school teaching, etc.). But, I guess I just feel like this pit we've found ourselves in has been due to our own poor and naive choices in the past and that we are paying for our mistakes now, as opposed to something like the loss of a job or illness, etc.
