Im Paid Off, But Still Have 16 Months Left

Im on a 23.90 plan, but I am paid off on my 23.90 balances, so am I just going to be paying them off at 100 now? My husbands income was horrid and we ended up getting a huge tax return for like child tax credits and things like that, so we we even over what our balance was by 3k and we still have16 months left. So what happens now? I wish we could of kept that money, we have huge medical bills as my husband had back surgery hence him not working as much and that is the reason for the tax return. Its a double edge sword.

I guess my question is, are we just going to be paying monthly till our plan is over and instead of it being 23.90 it would be whatever?

I am sorry to hear about the tax return. This is another example that everyone should take notice to! Evalulate your withholding throughout the year and adjust. It is better to owe a little than to give up a lot!!!!!!!!! Was your original plan for 36 or 60 months?
