How long after confirmation meeting till we know something?

We were due to be confirmed today, and last week we had some trustee objections. Our attorney tweeked our schedules and said that should take care of the trustees objections. Well today I called the attorney, and asked about the confirmation, if we had got it. He laughed a bit and said not to worry about it, that the trustee does hundereds of confirmations a day that it was not a big priority to them or him eithor. - Needless to say this has me pretty irritated. How long till the pacer updates to let us know if it was confirmed or not, seeing as that is the only way I am gonna know. The attorney did tell me that the trustee withdrew his objections yesterday so he was sure it was all ok. Pacer, dosen't show withdraw of objections yet. Attorney kinda laughed at me when I said that, he said not to look at the pacer it was just stupid to bother with it. Its not his life........easy to sit there and say its not a priority when it doesn't concern you!

You could try calling the Trustee/Assistants they would be able to tell you something of what kind of payment plan you have ! When my plan wasn't confirmed I had to see a judge, from there I had to submit another plan, but instead I submitted a request to convert. I called the "trustee," got one of his assistants and she said I no longer had to make any payments due to converting. Your lawyer is the best source, TRUST what he suggests. I know you are on edge and want answers, but if he said not to worry rest assured believe him. My lawyer had the same "attitude," he told me not to worry and all ended up well !

well I HATE it when no one tells you anything, you call and it's like your taking up their precious time when you have really good concrete reasons for calling and then don't hear a word. with me one of the creditors in my plan just sent me a warrant in debt! that was three days ago and the lawyer was left two messages and never called me back, so you know what i did. i made a copy for myself and sent the originials to him by mail. i'm not suppose to be talking to anyone just like these creditors aren't suppose to be talking to me.
OUr 2nd confirmation hearing is scheduled after the last day creditors could file claims due to questions on if joint or individual and they have come back in my favor............will this be confirmed, won;t it be confirmed. who the heck knows. no one tells me anything i can't get anyone to call me back. do i have to go to this confirmation hearing. who knows, i don't even know when it is, was not notified of when the second hearing is. what happens if i don't show up? i think these are important questions that should be answered. i mean really GET with the program! i consider it bad communication! i might be out of line but sorry, if i have questions they should be answered.

Daisey, give it another week. And do NOT call the trustee yourself! If your lawyer said the trustee has withdrawn his objections, that's what truly matters. PACER will catch up in good time.

If there's one thing that's clear after listening to hundreds of people tell their bk stories here, it's that trustees and bk lawyers work in a their own bizarre time warp that doesn't match up with our real lives worth a darn!

Do your best to wait it out - you are so close to being confirmed! If the waiting is getting to you, post here to vent anytime. Odds are things are just fine with your case....really!

OK I believe that means we are confirmed...........But what does the part where it says order due by 4/30/2007 mean? I spoke with the trustees office the gal there did say we were indeed confirmed and to just continue with our monthly payments as we have been and all should be just fine in 5 years. Our trustees office has been more help then our attorney. I didn't call the trustees office till I saw that on the pacer and it was still showing motion to dismiss in the status section so I was confused. The gal there said it will take a few more days for all to come together paper work wise and for the confirmation to show in all areas. She said it was a common issue they have with the Pacer.

Thanks! It feels pretty good. We have a payment that is much less then what I though I would have to pay. It will put us slightly strapped on those months that I have no work but we can manage it, if we try. I know a lot of people hate the chapter 13 thing, but I honestly feel we have been treated very fair, and am grateful for a debt management plan that we can handle.
