    Almost done

I filed in October 2019, so close now and I'm anxious to be done. It's so frustrating though, it seems like my payments have been really slow to post on NDC. My recent payment was deducted from my pay on 11 Oct and has yet to post, my next payment will be deducted tomorrow, so that will be 2 payments that will be waiting to be posted. My trustee also has 1500$ on hand just sitting there.

My plan was 0% to catch up on my mortgage, which according to my most recent mortgage statements it is showing a zero past due balance now. I feel like my mortgage is caught up, just distribute the money on hand to the unsecured creditors and set me free already so I can move on with my life. I just needed to rant a bit lol.

It's so nice to be close. I remember those days. I started a 30-day countdown. .

That’s how mine was, they took it out of my pay weekly but then it was slow to post. But even after they pay everyone it seems like it’s still taking forever.

I guess I need to stop obsessively checking it at this point as it is just causing me more anxiety. Ugh, I went the entire 5 years without checking that site a single time because I know they'll get the payment eventually as it comes right out of my pay but these last few months I have been anxiously checking and it's stressful when the payments take forever to post....I hate it.

I’m at the point now I check pacer everyday for my discharge paper! All payments have been done since august and now we just wait. So just know after it’s all paid you still have to wait lol. We filed in may 2019 and are still waiting on discharge.

TBH, I'm not even stressing about the discharge right now. I know that's still going to be a process lol. I'm just anxious over my payments not posting in a timely manner. I know they are still being deducted from my check, I double and triple checked, but since it has been 2 weeks since my paycheck and the payment hasn't posted yet I'm just worried that they didn't get it for some reason and will say I'm missing a payment.

Payroll deductions are almost always posting about 2 weeks late. Most employers cut a check to the Trustee. In some cases, the employer only cuts a monthly check to the trustee. I do not know the practice in your area, but my employer cut a semi-monthly check.

Usually, when you have a wage deduction order (WDO), the payroll deduction is sent to the lockbox in Tennessee. I would say that the weather over the last 3 weeks has hampered many operations and they may just be behind in processing checks. I know that carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and the USPS have had their operations interrupted by the storms.

              It will settle down.

That makes sense thank you. I just always assumed they sent the deductions to the trustee as a direct deposit lol. It's possible that it's always taken a bit for the payments to post but I just never really paid attention to it until these last few months or so.
